Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community.

At BestStart Peachgrove, we develop partnerships with families and through these relationships, we aim to enhance mana (strength) and empower children to be themselves. These relationships also allow us to understand what is important for each family and child and we create individualised learning plans to support their growth and development.

This is a permanent fulltime position working 40 hours per week.

We are looking for the following:

B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current teacher registration/certification
Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
