Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team to cover parental leave for a year. You will be working with delivery squads, using the full UX toolkit where needed. The role’s current focus is on responsive web for business customers. There is overlap with personal banking, mobile app and website experiences.

We have good design processes and an established design system. Each of our main channels have a dedicated Design Lead who provides support and connects the work across projects. Content, research, accessibility and strategic designers make up our wider design team. Our work happens across the design lifecycle, doing anything from concepts and testing to interaction design and development support.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • A team player and design ambassador who communicates well and is good at building relationships.
  • Experience delivering work as part of a squad, ideally in financial services and in an agile corporate environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or training in design, human-computer interaction, or practical experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of design workflow using Figma.
  • A portfolio or case studies of work that shows your process and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of responsive web, iOS and Android guidelines.
