About the role

Stevenson is looking for an experienced Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to join our team in Drury South Auckland and be a part of a dynamic team. If you are a highly organised individual with a knack for planning, we want to hear from you!

The Opportunity

We are looking for a detail oriented Maintenance Scheduler/Planner to join our team and ensure the smooth coordination of maintenance activities. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and optimising maintenance tasks to improve operational efficiency. As our Maintenance Scheduler, you will ensure efficient scheduling of works while minimising unnecessary impact on the customer.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities ensuring sufficient labour and resources are available to complete tasks.
  • Report on types of maintenance activities and provide a detailed breakdown, i.e. planned verses unplanned, inspection, corrective, fair wear and damage,
  • Respond to requests in a timely manner and schedule on manager approval
  • Co-operate with production in a positive and flexible manner to meet requirements.
  • Ensure all plant and tools are maintained in a safe manner and kept in good condition



About you

You are an organised individual with experience in maintenance planning and scheduling. You thrive in a fast paced environment and have a strong understanding of maintenance processes. With excellent problem solving skills and proactive mindset you can efficiently coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtown and improve operational efficiency. You will have strong communication skills that will enable you to collaborate effectively with various teams ensuring a smooth workflow.

Our ideal candidate will also have:

  • Experience in Maintenance Planning or scheduling or in a similar role
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to identify and communicate potential and existing problems to the Maintenance Manager
  • Selecting and determining the tools and equipment needed to do the job
  • Reads and understands specifications, maps and plans as appropriate
