About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned credit controller to join the highly efficient team based in our Support Office in Penrose. Reporting to the Credit Team Leader.

As the role will also assume responsibility for withheld payments and resolving disputes, you will need to have the maturity to negotiate and make sound decisions. Your ability to provide solutions for customers must be balanced with confidence, resilience, understanding and a commitment to ensure key financial metrics are met.

  • Providing full end-to-end credit support to assigned PlaceMakers branches
  • Dealing with account queries, account opening, credit checks, payment arrangements and reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
  • Providing credit support across a complex multi-site environment dealing with varied and sometimes complex scenarios and customers
  • Bank allocations and managing the accounts inbox
  • Partnering with the business with the ability to build and foster relationships with genuine passion.


This is a permanent full -time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, based at our Support office in Penrose.

About you:

  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Proven experience in negotiating with customer on credit queries – Firm but fair.
  • Solutions-focused with a positive attitude and genuine desire to make the role your own
  • Organised, deadline-driven and focused on the detail to ensure data accuracy
  • Ideally, you will have around 2-3 years’ credit control experience in the commercial sector.
  • The ability to work at pace and to deadlines
