As a Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in onboarding, training, and supporting travel agents while fostering strong relationships to drive business growth.
This is a Work-from-Home role, requiring frequent travel within the region to connect with partners and deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Training - Introduce new partners to our platform, provide training, and build their confidence in using the system effectively.
- Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong commercial and personal relationships with partners at all levels, negotiating financial and commercial terms to sustain and grow the business.
- On-Site Support - Conduct regular site visits (minimum 3-4 days a week) to support agents, deliver on-site and online training/webinars, and present new products to enhance sales.
- Sales Optimization - Monitor and follow up daily on client and team preferences to achieve better results and drive growth.
- Reporting - Provide consistent updates and performance reports to the Regional Manager.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the travel industry.
- Proven expertise in B2B sales, negotiations, and account management.
- Established network and reputation with travel agents in New Zealand.
- Strong understanding of the online travel business and ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and products.
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and goal-oriented work style with exceptional business communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly for work-related trips.
