About the Role

In this role you will have the opportunity to assist our Pole Inspection teams assessing and scoring poles and associated hardware as per Orion Network Standards, digging around poles, completing mechanical measurements of poles and visual and photographic inspections of cross-arms and hardware (training would be provided). Pole Assessor Assistants who choose to apply for a Line Mechanic Apprenticeship will be considered as a priority for those vacancies. This is a great stepping-stone if you are considering a career as Line Mechanic but would like to get practical experience and a good understanding of the industry.

About You

  • have a Full Class 1 driver's licence (Class 2 preferably)
  • are experienced in the utility industry or similar using typical plant/equipment
  • possess a great work ethic
  • enjoy working in a team environment
  • have good interpersonal skills

Pre-Employment Tests | Medical & Ministry of Justice

Connetics require all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check, a Pre-Employment medical test which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
