Job Description

The Role

The best innovators don’t just understand technology, they understand people.

Fisher & Paykel is an iconic New Zealand brand, a global company with a strong local heritage. Our origins inspire our culture of curiosity and passion to develop solutions designed around people - these are some of the core elements that make us unique.

We are driven by our values of being trusted, sustainably minded, innovative, generous, and curious. As a team we take a collaborative approach and have a working environment where all ideas are heard, evaluated, and tested against our leading goal - to be the world's most human-centred appliance brand.

About the Role

The CRM Development Lead plays a crucial role in driving the design, development, and implementation of scalable and innovative CRM solutions that enable organizations to enhance customer relationships, improve operational efficiency, and achieve business growth objectives.

In this pivotal role, collaboration with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and translate them into CRM system requirements and architectural designs will be the key. You’ll define technical architecture, including data models, integrations, workflows, and security measures, ensuring alignment with business processes and scalability requirements. You’ll also evaluate CRM platforms and technologies, recommending solutions that best fit the organization's needs.

As part of the leadership team, you will provide guidance and mentorship to the CRM development team, promoting technical excellence, best practices, and adherence to architectural standards. You will also drive the development of a positive and collaborative team culture, effectively allocating resources, managing workload distribution, and monitoring team performance to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

Your responsibilities also include:

  • CRM Customisation & Integration: Lead the customisation, configuration, and integration of CRM solutions with enterprise systems.
  • Code Quality & Leadership: Ensure high-quality code through reviews, standards, and provide technical mentorship to the team.
  • Data Management & Compliance: Oversee data migration, integrity, security, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Testing & Stability: Define testing strategies and collaborate with QA to ensure CRM reliability.
  • Innovation & Collaboration: Drive continuous improvement, align CRM development with business needs, and explore new technologies.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in delivery management, leadership, customer success experience and product delivery preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams to successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and delivering value to customers.
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms and technologies, agile methodologies, and customer success best practices is a plus.
