He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Fonterra site in Te Awamutu. This is a Permanent Part Time position.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the cooks with food preparation and serving of meals.
  • Sandwich making,
  • Assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.
  • Providing superb customer service


He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you are our ideal candidate;

  • You will be hard working, reliable and honest, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ideally you will already have some experience in a similar environment, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167), or be happy to train for one.
  • You will have reliable transport, and superior customer service skills
  • But most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
