Job Description

The client

My client is a leading manufacturer in the trailer, caravan, and RV sector, recognised for its high-quality axles, brakes, and suspension systems across New Zealand and Australia. With a strong focus on innovation, they’ve expanded their offerings to include advanced technologies such as electronic stability control and anti-theft systems.

The role

As the Account Manager for the North Island, you will lead sales and service delivery for key accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities to drive growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key decision-makers to support and enhance sales strategies
  • Balance your time between fostering existing customer relationships and generating new business prospects
  • Conduct regular site visits and client meetings on diverse projects across the region
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, overseeing sales, operations, negotiations, contracts, and customer service


About you

  • Experience in account management or sales in a technical/industrial market
  • A tertiary qualification in engineering or a similar technical field would be highly beneficial
  • Proven ability in negotiation and strategic decision-making
  • Flexible with travelling
  • Full New Zealand Driver’s License
