What you'll do:
As a Retail Credit Manager, you will be instrumental in steering the credit & risk department. Your daily responsibilities will encompass processing applications, verifying supporting documentation, preparing loan documents, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. You will also support in driving compliance to credit policy standards while crafting innovative credit risk models. Your commitment to strictly adhere to the bank's policies and procedures will be pivotal to your success in this role.
- Process and evaluate applications for diverse credit products
- Verify all supporting documentation to ensure authenticity and validity
- Compile and confirm accuracy of documentation and information necessary for facilities to be advanced to members
- Prepare and manage appropriate loan documentation, pre-and post-execution ensuring statutory and compliance requirements are met
- Handle any relevant tasks through our in-house processing system, ensuring file notes and actions are recorded accurately
- Support in driving compliance to credit policy standard
- Craft credit risk models and refine credit policy
- Strictly adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures at all times
What you bring:
The perfect candidate for the Retail Credit Manager position brings a wealth of experience from the banking sector. With a minimum of 3 years' experience in similar roles either in China or New Zealand, you possess an extensive understanding of retail lending products, risk boundaries, assessment tools, and market practices.
