We have a great opportunity to join within our Micro Space team as a Micro Space Analyst, in a fixed term capacity, covering a maternity leave We are looking for someone who will support the increasing complexity and demanding requirements inherent within the fast evolving Group range and space ecosystem and our Next Generation Ranging ambitions. This includes the transition towards a fully data led optimisation tool kit and store specific curated ranges - “what good looks like” in terms of how we execute excellence in Micro Space planning and performance. Mentor and support the wider team to deliver great outcomes and build capability.
About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
This role will require someone with advanced technical skills, who also demonstrates curiosity, excellent communication and influencing skills, paired with the drive to continually improve our customer's shopping experience. You will be engaging with stakeholders across the Range & Space and Merchandise teams to understand and execute the strategic direction of each category.
Your new role offers excellent exposure to retailing principles, with some of your key accountabilities and skill development also including:
- Training, Mentoring and coaching of Micro Space Analysts through their early category reviews
- Continue to deliver plans for Project stores, ERCs and NPDs as required, focussing on the more complex of plans to problem solve
- Analysing and deciding on space for category placement while maintaining the product range of stores across all categories
- Maintain and provide analysis and data to demonstrate improvements
- Deliver insight and performance reporting
About You | Mōu
If you are a highly organised individual, with a strong customer focus and exceptional analytical skills then this role is for you. Complimenting your strong coaching experience, you’ll also possess:
- Experience in Blue Yonder (or similar space planning tool) and Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to translate our company strategies into visual layouts
- A keen eye for detail along with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Great problem solving ability & excellent time management
- Excellent team working abilities and resilience to work under tight time frames
