Job Description
The Company
- Is a land development consultancy who as part of a national group, provide specialist advise and project management in Cambridge. They are seeking an experienced Surveyor or Survey Technician to join their team.
- This is your opportunity to be involved in all aspects of field surveying and office management of projects, including the preparation of resource and land use consents.
- While your focus will be in the greater Waikato, you are joining a multidisciplinary firm where you will find the opportunity to be involved in large and varied projects for all Land Surveying, Resource Management, Planning and Land Development work.
- To apply for this role you will need someone who can run your own jobs and crank out work independently.
- You will have a good knowledge of Landonline well, knowledge of relevant district plans, knows 12d well, able to do field work if required, solid engineering and be interested in growing yourself and within the business.
The Role
- Mixture of cadastral and engineering surveying predominantly for land development projects.
About You
- Experienced Surveyor who can self-manage jobs to completion
- More of a project manager than a technical surveyor type
- Be a member of or be eligible for membership of the NZIS
- Strong 12d software and Landonline skills
- Experience with land development
- Eager to apply engineering design and land development skills
- Demonstrable communication and inter-personal skills
- Able to perform efficiently and accurately without requiring close supervision
