What will you do?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Design Assistant to join our team. This is a high-level coordination role where you will manage various administrative tasks, including managing consultant invoices and agreements, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring accurate financial and documentation records. As a Design Assistant, you'll also support design meetings by taking minutes, conducting project audits, and promoting effective communication across teams. Additionally, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Key responsibilities but are not limited to:
- Assist with preparing resourcing budgets and reviewing team timesheets against design team budgets
- Assist with auditing portfolio projects for compliance
- Assist in forecasting consultant expenditure for FY budgets, approvals and coding
- Organise and document monthly design meetings, manage scheduling, and prepare presentation materials.
- Maintain and update the consultant information register

Who are you?
- You bring hands-on experience (ideally 5+ years) from working in previous architectural firms
- You have excellent coordination and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
