We have a rare entry level opportunity available for a Geotechnical Field Technician to join our team based in Lincoln.
This role would suit a graduate in geology, earth science or civil engineering however full on the job training is available for the right candidate.
You'll be responsible for making field observations and collecting and analysing samples of soil, rock and other earth materials to determine subsurface conditions in different landforms. You'll work both on site and in the office on a range of projects and manage the preparation of relevant documentation and deliverables to a high standard.
Our successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
A current drivers licence
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A professional, confident, honest, and positive demeanour
A commitment to customer service
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Strong time management and organisation skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work and stay calm under pressure
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
A good level of physical fitness and enjoy working outdoors
