Cartology is the Woolworths Groups stand-alone media business. The Cartology business was established with the aim of driving sales of in-store, digital and other media properties, whilst making it easier for suppliers to utilise our full range of media assets to deliver relevant messages to both new and existing customers.

Data driven insights is a major factor toward Cartology's integration into the Woolworths NZ ecosystem, a key role to ensure our success is Business Analyst - Sales Enablement.

What you’ll do | Hei mahi
Reporting to the Head of Client Strategy, Solutions, Insights and Analytics , you will be responsible for supporting them and the broader Cartology business. To be successful, you will be required to work cross-functionally, collaborating with our Operations, Finance & Client partnership teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Supporting the sales team with Salesforce reporting & reconciliation
  • Assist in training internal users on new Salesforce features and functions
  • Initiate and facilitate requirements gathering activities for feature improvement
  • Manage the E2E process for end of campaign reporting
  • Working with operations and finance to prepare data for end of month billing
  • Provide ad-hoc support of other business performance activities
  • Delivery of best practice reporting & forecasting, ensuring good data management practices
  • Improving internal capability around processes and systems
  • Support Client Partnership team with Category Insights and recommendations for proposals and reports


What you’ll bring | Hei koha
BA/BS degree-preferably in a quantitative discipline.

  • At least 5 years of technical pricing experience (including exposure to B2B pricing and revenue management) gained from industries like media & advertising (traditional & digital), aviation, travel & hospitality, insurance and/or telecommunications.
  • Strong analytical, and data story-telling skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and possess strong technical, financial modelling skills.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new systems/processes like BI tools (e.g., Tableau), database tools (e.g., SQL) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work effectively in defining and delivering against individual projects as well as contribute and take accountability on team-based projects.
