The School of Veterinary Science at Massey University, invites applications for the position of Practicing/Senior Practicing Veterinarian in Dairy Cattle Health and Production based in the mighty Manawatū of New Zealand! This is a part-time role, 4 days per week (0.8 full-time-equivalent, 30 hours per week). You must hold a veterinary degree registrable with the New Zealand Veterinary Council and have clinical experience.
This position is ideal for an ambitious dairy cattle veterinarian seeking a shift toward teaching and practice. You’ll provide clinical services to Veterinary Teaching Hospital clients (mainly dairy cattle, but also other production animals) and participate in teaching on-farm visits, practicals, and tutorials. We serve Massey-owned and commercial farms, focusing on high-quality teaching. The team includes skilled vets, techs, and specialists in dairy cattle and ruminant medicine, surgery, and reproduction, ensuring excellent clinical and teaching support.
