He angitūtanga / The opportunity:

Compass Group NZ are looking for two amazing Chefs to join our team within Strata Lounge at Auckland Airport. Hours of work are as an when required basis.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

Reporting to the Executive Chef, this key position, will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of the lounge menu cooking daily and most importantly providing a second to none experience to a large variety of airline passengers which use the lounge.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

If you are our ideal candidate:

• You will have a proven experience working in a commercial kitchen as a Chef
• You will be a hardworking team player who is able to work under pressure with a positive attitude
• You will have up to date knowledge of current Food Safety and Occupational Health and Safety legislation
• You will hold food safety Unit Standards 167 and 168 or equivalent
• You will demonstrate a passion for great food and quality.
• You have proven reliability.
• You will demonstrate experience of kitchen leadership and the ability to lead a team by building a motivated and cohesive unit.
• You will have the legal right to work in NZ
