Ready to work outdoors in one of New Zealand's most breathtaking regions?

NZ Cherry Corp and Central Otago Nets are leading the way in crop protection, offering orchard owners cutting-edge solutions to keep their cherry crops safe from frost, pests, and the unpredictable weather.

We're currently looking for a Netting Installation Technician to join our team based in Cromwell.

This role is perfect if you're someone who loves variety - one day, you're preparing the site, the next you're installing nets, and the day after that, you're learning how to operate heavy-duty machinery.

You'll be required to:

• Help read and interpret blueprints and measurements to design and install top-notch netting systems
• Prepare, organize, and select materials to ensure smooth, efficient installations
• Get the orchard ready for action with precise and careful ground preparation
• Handle hand tools, power tools, and equipment like a seasoned professional (don't worry, full training provided!)
• Work at heights, operating machinery like the MAXI 640 Hydralada (we'll train you to be a pro!)
• You'll work in a supportive, close-knit team, where your skills are valued and every day is different. Plus, you'll be doing all of this while soaking in the stunning Central Otago scenery.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience or a tertiary degree, but a strong work ethic and positive attitude go a long way!

If you've worked in a physical or labour-intensive role, this could be the chance to explore another career! As long as you're in great physical shape, comfortable using tools, and are not afraid of a little height, we'd love to talk!

A current drivers licence would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
