Job Description
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
At New Zealand's largest and leading Faculty of Science, situated in the heart of Auckland City, we offer a range of programmes to more than 8,000 students.
An opportunity exist in our Communications and Marketing team for a self-motivated Marketing Adviser to build the profile of the Faculty by taking responsibility for the development and execution of engaging marketing campaigns for multiple audiences across a range of platforms.
This role provides critical operational support to the Communications and Marketing Manager and the team. Responsibilities of this role include recruitment and promotional campaign implementation (including social media management), promotional item management, faculty brand management and faculty event support.
The team manages a high volume of work for many stakeholders so we are looking for someone who can help ensure that the workflow in the team runs smoothly and projects are completed on time.

This is a fulltime (37.5 hours per week) role
The salary is between $72,000 – $84,709 per annum, depending on skills and experience

You demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and have great communication skills.
- Understanding of an e-mail marketing (automation) platform
- Adept at prioritising the requirements of a large number of stakeholders
- Proactivity, energy and efficiency and an ability to inspire confidence and respect while working effectively with different groups of people and cultures.
- Be committed to excellent quality and have a sharp eye for detail.
- Be a team player with strong relationship skills who enjoys working with others in a collaborative environment.
- Have tons of initiative and be able to bring creativity and new ideas to the role.
- Be highly motivated, self-managing and exceptionally well organised. You will have strong planning and co-ordination skills and be able to juggle multiple priorities.

Ours is a really stimulating, supportive environment. The work we do is interesting, exciting, and impactful. We are made up of three content writers and coordinators, a marketing adviser and a marketing coordinator. This role will also work closely with our events coordinator.
