Mō Te Tūranga - About The Role
As the Senior Graphic Designer for ZEIL, you will lead design initiatives across the business, transforming concepts into impactful brand communications. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate closely with the cross functional teams to develop content calendars and campaigns that enhance brand awareness, drive app downloads, and increase user engagement.
This is a dynamic and creative role that has a strong focus on digital design assets, with a smaller focus on print collateral. It requires someone with a fresh and progressive aesthetic, who can find the right style and layout for every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and deliver high-impact designs across multiple platforms, including advertising, app store, email, billboards, flyers, events, presentations, reports, and website.
- Write and edit compelling copy for marketing materials to enhance brand messaging.
- Create motion graphics to bring designs to life and improve audience engagement.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets and communication channels.
- Stay up to date with design and social media trends, ensuring ZEIL remains innovative and ahead of the curve.
- Contribute creative ideas, participate in brainstorming sessions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Requirements:
- A sharp eye for aesthetics and a progressive design approach.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Motion graphics basics (After Effects) + video editing chops (Premiere Pro).
- Develop animated assets for digital campaigns, ensuring visually engaging and dynamic content.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping things fresh and on-brand.
- A collaborative spirit, but also the confidence to own projects independently.
- A keen sense of storytelling through design and copy.
- Preferred skill: Photography/videography experience to enhance brand storytelling.
Personal Attributes:
- Big Thinker, Small Starter: You dream big but execute incrementally, seeing every challenge as a learning opportunity.
- Change Maker: Focused on creating impactful, community-driven work that matters.
- Commitment to Excellence: You go the extra mile and believe in finishing the job to the highest standards.
- Detail-Oriented: You focus on small daily improvements, recognising their long-term impact.
- Supportive Collaborator: Open, candid, and constructive, fostering growth in others.
- Efficiency-Minded: You find ways to work smarter and achieve more with less.
- Leadership by Ownership: You take responsibility, embody company values, and help develop future leaders.
Take the next step in your career with the opportunity to lead and innovate in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.
