We are currently looking for a Production Draughtperson / CAD Designer to join our team.

About the Role

The role's main focus is on preparing jobs for production. Using a CAD drawing programme - Cabinet Vision, and liaising with the Site measuring team, you will ensure that each kitchen is ready to be produced to the high standard and detail that we have come to expect at Huntly Joinery. Your jobs and therefore planning will come from our wide-ranging list of clients, however other tasks around the office are sometimes required. Therefore, the candidate will have proven experience in using CAD-type drawing programmes.

To be considered for this role, candidate must possess most, if not all of the following criteria:

• A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in kitchen production draughting is essential.
• Experience with Cabinet Vision and S2M.
• Kitchen Cabinetmaking experience would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in communicating with customers is essential.
• Liaise design solutions with project managers and sales and manufacturing staff.
• Able to detail and document the selected design for production and send it to CNC machines for production.
• Must be able to read and work from plans.
• General computer skills and Microsoft office products would be advantageous.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines is essential.

On Offer:

• A permanent position, 9hrs per day - 45hrs per week with overtime offered when required (minimum of 40hrs per week).
• Pay rate $27 - $35 per hour
