Job Description
The Experienced Policy Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing policy decisions to support our Trust’s mission. This volunteer position is ideal for individuals with expertise in policy analysis, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement. The Policy Analyst will work collaboratively to develop impactful policies that address critical challenges and drive the organization toward achieving its goals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform policy development.
Draft, review, and refine policy recommendations aligned with organizational priorities.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather insights and ensure policies are practical and effective.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of existing policies to identify areas for improvement.
Stay up to date on sector trends, legislation, and best practices to provide informed advice.
Present findings and recommendations clearly to leadership and relevant audiences.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in policy analysis, research, or related fields.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
