  • 7.00am - 3.30pm, 3-4 days a week (days to be agreed upon)
  • Based in Penrose


Gillespie Engineering Ltd has a Factory Cleaner / General Hand position available.

Hours are 7.00am - 3.30pm 3-4 days a week (days to be agreed upon)

About the role:

  • Various cleaning throughout the factory
  • Cleaning factory floor
  • Office cleaning including floors
  • Cleaning toilets
  • Emptying metal swarf from machines to waste bin
  • Teas and coffee for Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea
  • Some driving duties


You need to be the following:

  • Physically fit and healthy
  • Good communication skills
  • A positive "can do attitude"
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Drug and Alcohol test will be carried out on the successful candidate prior to starting employment


Applicants for this position need to have NZ Residency or a Valid NZ work visa. A current NZ drivers licence is essential, and a forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
