The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for an intermediate accountant to step into a dynamic role with a reputable agricultural organisation. The role offers exposure to the business operations, with the opportunity to develop under an experienced Finance Manager.

The Company

Dairy Holdings Limited is a New Zealand majority owned and operated company with 100% of its farming assets in the South Island of New Zealand. With approximately 63 dairy farms and 20 support blocks they have been operating for twenty-four years. The Role

Based in Ashburton and working closely with the Finance Manager this position will see you responsible for a wide and diverse range of reporting and analytical functions that will support the business. The successful applicant’s tasks will include:

· Monthly reconciliations and journal entries
· Month end reporting and analysis
· Management of the Groups Fixed Assets and Insurance
· Assisting the Finance Manager with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
· Participation in budgetary preparation and analysis of costs vs budget

Your Profile

· 2–4 years in accounting roles
· Positive attitude.
· Great communicator, team player, curious thinker
· Strong Excel skills and a love for tidy numbers
· Eligibility to work in NZ
