Job Description
If you have a minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience of either working as part of a quality team or in a laboratory and have a Food Technology Degree or QA diploma, then we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing the six-sigma program for all Yashili’ s Ingredients and Finished Products.
- Managing of ingredients shelf-life testing and validation.
- Develop and conduct sensory in-house testing for Finished products.
- Liaise and follow up with the laboratory on testing requirements and results reporting.
- Approved Certificates of Analysis (COA) to meet customer requirements.
- Conduct GMP audits.
- Create purchasing orders for the Quality team.
- Lead and support improvement projects for the release and compliance team.
- Operational compliance with RMP / HACCP / OMAR requirements.
- Support the development of standard operating procedures.
- Back-up for the Raw Material Release officer.
- Back-up for the Product Release Officer.
- On call support on the weekend (on a roster basis).
- Support a no compromise culture for H&S within the Yashili plants and ensure compliance to all supporting processes.
