Fabrication Team Leader
Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of horticultural equipment. We are recruiting a permanent role for a Fabrication Team Leader to lead their stainless steel workshop. This is an exciting opportunity, starting up in 2025 to lead a skilled team and help drive innovation in agricultural equipment manufacturing.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of skilled fabricators
• Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets the company's high standards, quality and safety.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
• Monitor team performance, to provide training and support to develop team members skills
• Be able to get hands on to help with the team's workload

Skills and experience required:

• Proven experience in MIG, TIG and FCAW welding
• 10 years of proven experience in a fabrication position, working with stainless steel and mild steel.
• Strong leadership skills to guide a team
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical drawings
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations
• Any relevant certifications or qualifications would be advantageous
