Job Description
Our client, Acrow Group, is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their team in Auckland. An exciting opportunity to create financial and operational business intelligence solutions that enhance visibility and enable data-informed business decisions across the Group. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, focusing on analysis, design, and implementation of solutions.
What you'll do:
You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility of financial and operational intelligence across the Group by:
- translating requirements into technical specifications
- partnering with business units and IT providers to identify, design and implement technical solutions and document requirements
- automate and create compelling visualisations (e.g. dashboards) and data models
- collaborate with key stakeholders to manage projects and test solutions
- provide training and support to users
- manage the relationship with our external IT provider.
What you’ll bring:
You will bring a unique blend of technical proficiency and business acumen. Your special powers will include your:
- ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- analytical skills for solving complex business problems
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- technical proficiency with a strong understanding of IT systems and software development
- expert-level Microsoft Excel skills with experience in SQL/Python/VBA/R
- experience and knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Jet Analytics or a transferable tool experience with data warehouse design and management
- experience in managing projects through to a successful completion
- proven commercial awareness to support your technical strengths.
