The Company
My client is a progressive specialist geotechnical engineering, contaminated land and environmental management consultancy whose highly respected team of high-level expert geotechnical engineers, geologists and environmental scientists provide expertise on a wide range of challenging and complex projects.
Due to growth, they are looking to hire Intermediate and Senior level Geotechnical Engineers/Engineering Geologists. You will play a vital role in the successful end to end delivery of a range of challenging projects from inception to completion.

The Role
Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist
· Stakeholder engagement with clients and contractors
· Scope, prepare and conduct geotechnical site investigations and analyses
· Mentoring of junior staff and review of geotechnical design calculations and reports
· Use Slide, Cliq, CPeT, WALLAP to understand data and model future conditions
· Design complex geotechnical engineering solutions (slope stability, settlement, liquefaction assessments)
· Undertake geotechnical designs for complex scenarios (foundation design, retaining wall design, remedial design works, ground improvement etc.)
Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist
· Undertake investigations and assessments
· Prepare designs
· Write reports
· Complete site observations and testing and construction observation
About You
- Intermediate
- 3 years+ experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Continuously learn by being curious, investigating and pushing the limits
- A positive can-do attitude
- Good relationship-building skills with clients/contractors
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
· A love of learning and expanding knowledge

· Proficient interpretation of construction drawings and land maps

Senior
· 7+ years’ experience
Relevant tertiary qualification
· CPEng Certification or in process
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
