The Role
- They are looking for someone to lead the technical aspects of our growing Geotechnical team while also guiding the development of more junior staff.
- You will be involved in all manner of engineering projects from large scale commercial and industrial developments to small residential projects.
- You will be working on a range of subdivisions, earthworks designs, roading projects, three waters design, residential developments, commercial building projects and industrial projects.
- Your wealth of experience is valued, and they will tailor the role to align with your capabilities.
- This role will encompass a blend of office-based design work, site visits, and construction monitoring.
About You
- Tertiary Qualification relating to Engineering / Geology.
- 3-5 years’ minimum experience working as a Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist.
- CPEng (with Geotechnical practice field) or PEngGeol or working towards.
- Have strong interpersonal and technical skills.
- Able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Creative thinking to find innovative solutions for our clients.
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs, slope assessment, settlement and liquefaction assessment software.
