The company was founded in the UK and extended operations to NZ in 2020. The Auckland based team is currently operating from a shared workspace in Newmarket. This means you will have the opportunity to:

The Role
They are looking for an environmental or civil engineer with 3-5yrs work experience. They are seeking a team member with experience in any of the following areas:

  • Asset management
  • Business cases and investment decision making
  • Planning, design and delivery of water supply, stormwater and / or wastewater infrastructure
  • Flood risk management
  • Water quality management


You will be responsible for delivering project work and liaising with clients with the potential for part time secondments into client organisations. They are actively delivering work in the areas listed below, but aim to expand this where they see demand:

  • Project justifications / business cases for three waters infrastructure
  • Researching and developing new areas of water and flood risk management policy for local government
  • Development and review of stormwater reticulation and quality improvement schemes


About You
They are seeking a full or part time team member that is interested in developing their career in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with the skillset to thrive in a small diverse and dynamic team.

You must have:

  • A demonstrable appetite for learning and developing your career further
  • Sound technical ability to work within one or more of the areas noted in the role description
  • Knowledge of Te Mana o te Wai principles and the desire to see them delivered through your work
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Excellent written and spoken English


You must have a Washington Accord accredited degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, a full driver’s licence and the legal right to work and live in New Zealand.
