We are currently seeking an Aquatics Supervisor to join the team at Otumoetai Pool. This position primarily operates from Otumoetai pool and offers the chance to work throughout our bustling Aquatic network, facilitating skill development and staff integration. The Aquatic Supervisor ensures the customer experience and venue presentation is to a high standard, along with administration support to the Assistant Aquatic Manager. The role also oversees the daily tasks of our Lifeguards to ensure a safe, efficient and compliant operation, while leading a high performing team.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have previous staff leadership experience, plus excellent communication and organisation skills.
Knowledge of aquatic facilities or previous lifeguarding experience would be beneficial
Knowledge of, or experience in customer experience industry is also preferable
A Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate is essential to this role, however if you do not currently have one, we can provide the training required.
Ability to lead a team, develop and coach staff in a fast-paced environment
Have excellent communication skills and complete tasks on time
