Are you a passionate and positive self-starter with a growth mindset who is looking for a challenge? We have a great opportunity in our Human Resources Support Services team offering a Fixed Term vacancy ending 30 June 2025. This position is based at our office at Greenlane, Auckland.
As an HR Assistant, you will demonstrate a high level of competence in performing all HR administrative duties. You will possess well developed interpersonal skills, strong communication skills and be able to provide excellent service to our customers and stakeholders.
Your ability to be discrete in relation to confidential matters and the use of your initiative and critical thinking skills to solve complex tasks will be necessary for success in this role.

Key Accountabilities:
- Strong customer service and administration experience
- Be an expert at time management and prioritisation
- Self lead and demonstrate initiative and accountability
- Have a passion for collaboration and self initiative for learning
- Be positive and enthusiastic and actively contribute to building a high performing team
- Exposure to working with, and interpreting collective agreements and policies
- Have the ability to problem solve and challenge the status quo
- Demonstrate proficient keyboard skills and experience in Microsoft Office application, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $63,526 and $66,312 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
