Position: Part-Time Sales Representative
Hours: 25-30 hours per week (flexible start time from 9:00 AM, finish before 2:00 PM)
Location: Tauranga, with occasional travel within the Bay of Plenty region
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated, experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Tauranga. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a flexible, part-time role that suits their family lifestyle. You'll be working within the commercial food and hospitality industries, actively approaching new businesses and building relationships to drum up new clients for supply.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sales, particularly within an industrial or food product-related field, and will be confident in approaching potential clients and building lasting relationships. This is a door-to-door sales role, so you must be comfortable meeting people in person, networking, and establishing rapport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities within the commercial food and hospitality industries.
- Cold calling and knocking on doors to introduce products and services.
- Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients.
- Follow up with leads and provide excellent customer service to retain accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales progress.
- Report on sales activities and opportunities regularly to management.
- Occasionally travel to clients outside Tauranga, within the Bay of Plenty region.
- Represent the company in a professional and personable manner at all times.

- Proven sales experience, preferably within an industrial or food-related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building relationships.
- Confidence in face-to-face selling and cold calling.
- Self-motivated and driven to meet targets and deadlines.
- Full driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
- Prior references and a demonstrated track record in sales will be highly regarded.
