Tekōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We have a unique and excellent opportunity for someone with a varied skillset to join our Penrose, Auckland team as Paver/Miller Foreperson. Within this role, you will be leading a crew of operators/labourers whilst also operating both Miller and Paver machines.
You will drive the Paver machine and operate the mixer to control the mix manufacture process and load raw materials onto machine in motion.
You will operate the Miller machine to remove old asphalt and prepare the area for new asphalt
Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
You will have some exposure to supervising and leading a crew within the civil construction industry. You will also have:
- A Full Class 2 drivers’ licence (minimum) with W, T, R endorsements (beneficial)
- An uncompromising focus and commitment to safety and environmental management, with experience in hazard identification and risk management.
- A can-do attitude with a good work ethic
- The ability to be reliable and dependable
