We are on the hunt for a new Restaurant and Functions Manager to help develop and grow our already well-established venue. We are looking for applicants with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. With huge growth potential within our company. You will work closely with the Director and management team. We are offering a competitive pay rate based on your experience.
About Us
Alluvial Restaurant and Function Centre is a locally owned restaurant located in Ashburton, just 60 minutes south of Christchurch, and is part of The Tinwald Complex, alongside Tinwald Tavern, Tinwald Motel and Tinwald Liquorland.
About you
- Previous Hospitality experience (minimum 2 years), preferably in Restaurant & bar environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Exceptional people management skills and managing managers
- A current and up to date LCQ and Duty Managers License or the ability to get one
- A great sense of humor and positive nature You will be managing a great team who love the industry and enjoy some good banter. Applicants for this position should have a valid NZ working VISA
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant and Functions Centre ensuring customers are served to an exceptional standard.
- Providing leadership and mentoring and developing the capabilities within the team.
- Developing and implementing policies and standard operating procedures.
- Ensuring the business complies with Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
- Staff management, training, and rosters.
- Managing costs and budgets, ensuring maximised efficiencies across all areas of the business.
- Know what it takes to make a hospitality business profitable.
