The Role:
Lead a team to plan and deliver critical transportation projects, balancing urban and rural priorities.
Build and restructure an in-house team while managing contractors and stakeholders.
Engage closely with communities, including iwi and hapū, to align infrastructure with local needs.
Oversee budgets, contracts, and network maintenance to ensure efficient operations.
About You:
Senior-level experience in transportation or roading management, ideally in remote or rural areas.
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, particularly in cultural and community collaboration.
Expertise in project, financial, and asset management, with a solid background in road construction and maintenance.
A relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering, transport planning, or related fields.
