Job Description
The Company
Leading NZ Consultancy specialising in Supply Chain looking for a PM to roll out an ERP for their Japanese owned client. You must be proficient in Japanese.
The Role
Reporting to the consultancy Director and working closely with the business you will act as a liaison between all stakeholders, driving the implementation process, managing deliverables, and ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- In conjunction with the consultancy team, develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and key deliverables.
- Coordinate project activities between the consultancy team and the client.
- Schedule and lead regular project meetings (both internal and external).
- Serve as the main point of contact for the consultancy team, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Facilitate clear communication between the consultancy business and their client.
- Support the consultancy team to project manage the end-to-end implementation of the ERP, ensuring alignment with their client business objectives.
- In conjunction with the consultancy team, oversee data migration, system configuration, integration, and testing processes.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure all deliverables meet agreed quality standards.
- Oversee user training and support change management initiatives.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, risk logs, and progress reports.
- Prepare regular updates for stakeholders, highlighting achievements, risks, and next steps.
Your profile:
- Proven experience managing ERP/Logistics platforms is preferred but not vital.
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding industries is preferred but not vital.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a project environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in Japanese (written and spoken) is essential for working with the client.
Excellent English communication skills for internal reporting and coordination.
Additional detail:
This role is fully remote with potential travel as required. Work hours in Perth/Tokyo time zones will be required.
