As Grand Millennium Auckland's Painter/Handyperson, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel. This role is perfect for someone who’s hands-on, self-motivated, and multi-skilled.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactive maintenance to keep our hotel running smoothly and our guests comfortable.
  • General repairs including painting, plastering, gibb stopping, and joinery.
  • Responding swiftly to maintenance requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Executing work orders efficiently to maintain high service standards.
  • Regular property checks to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.


Who we’re looking for:

  • A practical problem solver with a great knowledge of painting, using different tools and maintenance techniques.
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment would be ideal.
  • A team player with a customer-focused attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • Physically fit, energetic, and ready to take on varied shifts, including weekends when required.
