The successful candidate will help build financial management capability and confidence within the organisation. This position is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in senior management roles.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a finance expert, offering respected advice and guidance across the organisation.
- Build relationships and develop a deep understanding of the portfolio to deliver trusted financial advice.
- Assess commercial viability of investment decisions and articulate financial risks and opportunities.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the organisation's financial management capability.
- Design, deliver, and improve finance training material and guidance for all levels of the organisation.
Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Over 4 years of finance experience with proven project and advisory experience in senior management roles.
- CAANZ Chartered Accountant Qualification (or equivalent).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team player with leadership capabilities and ability to influence decision-makers.
- Experience using office software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
