The role:
Our client is a well established finance company offering finance facilities to car dealers and importers. They wish to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic relationship manager to manage an existing portfolio of clients. Once you are established in this position there is also the opportunity to develop new business.
The role would ideally suit someone with at least 3-5 years financial services experience looking to take on more responsibility or you may be looking for a new challenge after some time in sales or relationship management. Due to growth in their product offering they seek someone who can provide the right product solutions for their customers.
About you:
- A self starter who can manage existing relationships and over time possibly progress into business development.
- 3 – 5 years financial services relationship management experience, perhaps with some sales experience
- Articulate with the ability to communicate potential opportunities to senior management to get their buy in
- Must be flexible, not a 9-5 mentality and prepared to go the extra mile to get a deal over the line.
- Financially literate as well as being results and achievement orientated
- Prepared to travel outside Auckland for approximately 2-days per month (Hamilton, Christchurch or Dunedin).
Our client has a reasonably simple product offering. Knowledge of the motor vehicle industry would be an advantage but it is not essential. This is a small team so the successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a small yet very collegial environment . A positive, collaborative work culture exists in this business. An excellent base salary plus commission, company vehicle, parking and phone will be offered to the successful candidate.
