About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga

Are you ready to drive growth and make a real impact? As a Commercial Business Partner at New Zealand Health Group, you’ll be at the forefront of our expansion efforts. Partner with General Managers and key leaders to hit growth targets, lead innovative initiatives, and capitalise on market opportunities. This is a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.

Sample of responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute a growth plan that prioritises opportunities within your portfolio.
  • Contribute to our commercial strategy with your market insights.
  • Drive both organic and inorganic growth.
  • Lead the sales cycle from opportunity identification to revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with other NZHG entities to support overall growth.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understand customer needs and leverage relationships for growth.
  • Lead project teams to deliver on growth opportunities.
  • Utilise CRM systems to monitor and drive business development activities.


What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga

  • Expertise in managing and developing relationships.
  • Experience in the health/disability sector would be preferred.
  • Experience in identifying market opportunities and creating growth plans.
  • Ability to lead the end-to-end sales cycle.
  • Proven track record in guiding project teams to success.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with RFPs and financial management.
  • Collaborative spirit and a passion for developing others.
  • Sound judgment and high integrity.
  • A clean full drivers licence.
