What You'll Do:

• Conduct analysis and gather requirements essential for understanding the current state, problem statements, and opportunities of the organisation.
• Contribute to the development of business cases.
• Collaborate with project staff and stakeholders to maximise the benefits of transitioning to new technology.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external project stakeholders.
• Actively participate in project activities to ensure the assigned project or initiative is well-positioned for advancement.
• Identify issues, inefficiencies, opportunities, and solutions within Digital & Data, Programme Delivery teams, and staff

The ideal candidate for this Technical Business Analyst role will have demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst working on technology or ICT-related projects. It is essential that you have work experience in New Zealand in a similar capacity. You should have a profound understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools. Your proficiency in the Microsoft suite including; Project, Visio, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive is absolutely essential. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for this role, along with excellent active listening skills. An organised individual with a natural inclination for planning, strategy, and tactics will thrive in this position.

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst working on technology or ICT-related projects.
• Essential work experience in New Zealand as a Business Analyst.
