As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing precise estimates for roofing projects, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring seamless project delivery. Your work will help shape the future of roofing projects across both residential and commercial sectors in Auckland.


Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Proposals: Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for roofing projects, ensuring that proposals are competitive and profitable for both the client and Taurus Group.
Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business leads, build relationships, and convert opportunities into successful projects.
Client Interaction: Conduct site visits to gather project requirements, engage with clients to understand their needs, and provide expert roofing solutions tailored to their specifications.
Industry Insights: Stay up-to-date with the latest roofing trends, products, and technologies to offer clients innovative solutions that meet their requirements.


What We’re Looking For

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator, ideally within the roofing or construction industry, with a strong track record in sales and business development.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of roofing materials, methods, and costs, as well as experience using estimating software and tools.
Sales & Growth Focused: Ability to proactively identify and convert new business opportunities, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Strong Communication Skills: Excellent ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth project execution and strong relationships.
Qualifications: A relevant qualification in roofing management, quantity surveying, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
