The Company

• Is a NZ owned, medium sized, long standing reputable business located in East Auckland. Recently under new ownership and with significant growth opportunities in the future, they are now looking for an experienced Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with strong leadership capability to join their highly successful team.

The Role

• Taking accountability for the overall running of the business and drive performance measures to achieve growth
• Leading, developing and growing individuals in the team to reach their full potential
• Undertaking various types of surveying. Eg.land transfer, topographical and land development
• Preparing land development plans for client
• Managing key projects in the greater Auckland region
• Liaising and building strong relationships with clients, councils, LINZ and consultants and engage with the community as required

About You

• Experience as a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor
• Experience in all types of surveys, including land transfer, engineering set-out and as-builts, topographic mapping
• A good knowledge of the resource consent process
• Experience in the New Zealand Land Transfer System
• Knowledge of 12d, Landonline and AutoCAD software
• Knowledge of the current rules for Cadastral Surveying and associated guidelines
• Exceptional abilities to prioritise workloads and make good commercial decisions
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• A full NZ drivers’ licences
• Leadership experience in a high performing team environment preferable
