Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in residential and commercial electrical projects to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for residential and commercial electrical projects.
• Review project specifications and drawings, to determine material and labor requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop comprehensive bids and proposals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry trends.
• Assist in contract negotiations and project planning to ensure budget adherence.
• Complete electrical layout plans for residential projects.
• Assist delivery team with administration of project variations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in residential and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimating software (such as Simpro, Groundplan or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant electrical trade qualifications or a degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
