They are currently hunting for experienced heavy machine operators, these machines consist of compactors, tractors, rollers, diggers, and loaders. Requirements:

1-3 years of proven experience as a heavy machine operator
Minimum of a Full Class 1 NZ Driver’s License
Ability to perform physical demanding tasks
W, T, R and F endorsements are advantageous
Must be able to pass all pre-employment checks
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Experience highly desirable in drain laying/laying pipe

Responsibilities:

Operating heavy machinery according to safety guidelines
Prepare sites for construction or excavation by clearing land, digging trenches, and grading surfaces
Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications
Load, transport and unload materials such as earth, rocks, and other construction supplies
Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of sites and equipment.
General labouring may be required from time to time
