The Modelling & Decision Strategy team are truly customer focused on the delivery of sustainable world class credit risk models, decision strategies, monitoring, analytics and actionable insights. To help us continue on our journey we are looking for a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team!

We sat down with our Head of Modelling & DS who let us know the following about the role:

What are some of the key focus areas for this opportunity?

Complete the design, build, deployment and governance, as well as subsequent management/ monitoring of statistical credit risk models (both operational and regulatory)
Develop, enhance and monitor our application and account management decision strategies to ensure we are delivering awesome outcomes
Provide meaningful and actionable insights on portfolio trends, highlighting opportunities and ensuring that existing and emerging risks
Ensure compliance with relevant Regulatory and Group model standards/guidelines regarding model development, validation and performance monitoring

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?

The Senior Quantitative Analyst will be responsible for designing and delivering differentiated propositions and experiences that create better bank and customer outcomes!

What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?

You'll bring with you proven experience in statistical and analytic techniques as well as advanced knowledge and experience with software/tools such as Python, SQL, PowerBI & Tableau. Alongside this you will possess:

Model development experience in a large corporation (IRB accredited)
Ability to synthesise multiple sources of information, and multiple objectives and requirements
Strong analytical capability regarding strategy optimisation
Proven experience in managing multiple, concurrent, and competing pieces of work, in complex business environments
Well developed interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate complex topics effectively to any audience.
