Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and professional Finance Manager for a growing family-owned business based in New Zealand, with an Australian branch. This is a part-time position offering 25-30 hours per week, with flexible working hours to accommodate each individual’s schedule.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the following areas of responsibility:
- Expertise in Xero accounting and Xero Payroll for both New Zealand and Australia.
- In-depth knowledge of business obligations with the New Zealand Inland Revenue Department (IRD), including GST and Payroll Tax.
- Strong understanding of Australian Payroll Law, Payroll Tax, and BAS Returns.
- Experience managing Foreign Exchange transactions, both incoming and outgoing.
- Ability to oversee Accounts Payable processes and resolve supplier queries efficiently.
- Willingness to assist with customer service, reception duties, and general inquiries.
- Capability to provide timely weekly and monthly financial reports to the Directors.
- Experience in collaborating with external accountants to ensure accurate financial management.
