We are looking for long term people who live in or near Wharepapa South to work on a egg farm.
If you live in Hamilton, Cambridge or Te Awamutu, there will be a pick up service provided by the company so you can save money on travel!
Company has Near Future Plans of offering Pick Up and Drop Off Van in Hamilton aswell!
Starting Rate: $25 an hour
What the job involves:
- General barn duties, spreading saw dust, cleaning-up
- Working with livestock (chickens) - this may also include euthanasia of any sick or suffering chickens
- Collecting eggs
- Packaging and grading eggs
- Inventory work – stocktaking, labelling, and moving stock around
Who would be good at the job:
- Someone does not mind getting messy and being in a farm environment.
- Physically fit and strong, can lift up to 25kgs.
- You need to have a great attitude and be a team player.
- Keen learner and wants to upskill
- Full training will be provided.
Requirements:
- Must not have any personal poultry, pet birds or pigs.
- Drivers license
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be able to work rostered weekends.
