We have some really big important projects to deliver for Council which span right across the functions of the organisation. In this role, you will provide expert assistance and advice on these high-profile projects to Council’s Chief Executive, Group Managers, and Elected Members.
You’ll be focusing on:

This will enable you to provide expert analysis, undertake research, and develop business cases, informal briefings, and reports.
- Project Oversight and Advice: Ensure clear delivery roadmaps, robust governance structures, and effective risk management strategies are in place to drive project success. You also won’t be afraid to get stuck in, roll up your selves, and do what it takes to get the job done.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with Elected Members, partners, and stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and private sector organisations. This will enable you to gain their technical expertise, cooperation, and coordinated delivery on cross-Council work.
- Engagement: Contribute to public consultation processes, representing the Council on external working parties and groups.
